"Training resources didn’t really deliver"
I signed up for Wheelhouse mainly because of the training resources, so yeah, that’s probably on them for setting the expectation higher than what was actually there. The materials felt scattered, and a lot of it was just basic info I’d already seen for free online.
Some of the videos were way too short and didn’t walk through the steps clearly. I kept pausing, rewinding, and basically guessing what they were trying to explain, which kind of defeats the whole point of paying for training.
When I reached out to support, they mostly sent me back to the same resources, so that didn’t help much either. For the price, I expected something much more polished and useful, but after trying to make it work, I ended up cancelling.

"Channel manager setup was more stressful than I expected"
I tried setting up Wheelhouse with my channel manager it just never really felt like it was syncing the way it should. Prices seemed delayed, and then I’d find myself going back in to double-check things manually, which kind of defeats the whole point, right? I kept thinking maybe I missed a setting or needed to give it more time, but it just kept making me nervous.
Support did respond, so I’ll give them that, but it turned into a lot of back and forth and I still didn’t feel totally confident that everything was actually fixed. Maybe it works great for other setups, and maybe mine was just unlucky, but for me it ended up being more stress than it was worth
"Billing was honestly a headache"
I signed up for wheelhouse.live just to try it out, and when I decided to cancel, I could not figure out where I was supposed to do that. Very calm about it, obviously, but then I still got billed, so I had to follow up and sort it out, which was frustrating.
Support eventually replied, but it took longer than I expected and the messages felt kind of copy-pasted. Maybe the actual service works fine for other people, but the whole billing experience was enough for me. I would not use it again

"Kept going down when I needed it most"
I gave Wheelhouse a try for a few live sessions, it was frustrating. Right when I needed things to run smoothly, pages would freeze, streams would drop, or I’d be stuck waiting forever just to get back in.
Maybe other people have had better luck with it, but my experience made it feel too risky to rely on. For something built around live sessions, I really needed it to stay stable, and it just didn’t...

I swear, trying to find anything on this dashboard is a guaranteed time-waster. Nothing feels like it’s where it should be, and I’m completely certain I spend more time hunting around than actually getting anything done.

I tried using wheelhouse.live to keep track of my portfolio, it felt like a clunky mess. The numbers didn’t update the way I expected, so I kept sitting there second-guessing everything like some idiot instead of actually managing my stuff. Support was slow to respond too, which didn’t help. Maybe it works fine for other people, but I got annoyed and bailed after a few days.

The onboarding was a mess for me. I got confused quickly during setup, and there didn’t seem to be any real help when I needed it. What made it worse was the total lack of human contact — just automated prompts and generic info, which didn’t really solve anything. I just wanted to talk to an actual person for a few minutes.

I gave Wheelhouse a shot mainly because I needed the VRBO integration, but it just didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. I really wanted it to be simple, simple enough that I could set it and stop thinking about it.
The prices didn’t seem to update right away, so I kept going back into VRBO to double-check everything. And once you’re constantly checking, checking again, and still not feeling sure, it kind of defeats the whole purpose.
Maybe it works great for other hosts with a different setup, but for me it added more stress than it removed. I ended up turning it off because I just didn’t trust it enough to leave it running.

I was really hoping the automation would make things easier, but it just didn’t work when I actually needed it. It failed at the worst time, it was frustrating, frustrating enough that I don’t really trust it now.

"Kind of disappointing, honestly"
I wanted to like it because the basic setup is fine, but the customization is really lacking. It gives you just enough options to make you think you can personalize things, then you quickly hit a wall. Frustrating if you were hoping to make it feel more your own.

I reached out to support hoping for a quick fix, but the whole process was really slow and not very helpful. Compared to other companies I’ve dealt with, this was definitely one of the more frustrating support experiences.

"Rate suggestions are hard to trust"
I’ve been using their rate recommendations, but they don’t give enough explanation for where the numbers are coming from. It’s hard to trust the suggested prices when I can’t see the reasoning behind them. And whenever I ask about it, I just get these canned apologies that don’t really answer anything, which makes the whole thing even more frustrating

I had a frustrating experience with the Airbnb sync. My prices kept changing incorrectly, and when I reached out for help, support didn’t really seem to fix anything. It felt like they made it my problem to sort out, even though the issue was on their end

I was checking rates around the busier dates and they just seemed weirdly unchanged, or at least not what I expected. Maybe I’m missing something, but the pricing felt off for the season and it left me frustrated tbh. Not super happy with it

"Honestly, I didn’t see the revenue boost"
I tried wheelhouse.live because I was really hoping it would help bring in more revenue, but honestly... nope. The numbers pretty much stayed flat, and a couple months actually felt worse, which was super frustrating when you’re paying for something that’s supposed to help. Maybe it works great for other people, and that’s awesome, but for me it just didn’t deliver enough to justify the cost.

I paid for it for a few weeks, i just didn’t see enough value to keep it. It literally feels too expensive for what you actually get.
